The film festival is seeking volunteers to help plan and promote the event throughout the year. Volunteer duties include fundraising, publicity, evaluating films, tech support, ticket sales and ushering. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Marsha.

Fundraising
We are looking for volunteers to help with fundraising efforts in order to make this year’s festival a success. Volunteers will be given a script and list (as long or short as you would like) of local businesses to contact for sponsorship opportunities. If you are interested, please contact contact Susan Haine

PR and Media Contact
Volunteers are needed to help with media outreach. You will assist in getting the word out on the Alexandria Film Festival to all targeted local and regional media, print, radio and television. It will involve a major campaign of distributing our press release, primarily by email, and followup by phone to the most important media.
